SHOPIAN, MAY 06: The District Election Office, Shopian today conducted a training programme for Micro-observers at Meeting Hall Mini-Secretariat, here to acquaint them with the know-how of election process in the district.

The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Shopian, Dr. Nasir Ahmed Lone who chaired a session, emphasized upon Micro-Observers to perform their duties with utmost dedication so that the Lok Sabha elections are held in a free, fair and transparent manner.

He also stressed on the importance of adhering to the Election Commission of India’s guidelines to ensure fair and transparent polling.

Master Trainers presented a detailed presentation regarding the role and responsibilities of Micro-observers in the upcoming phase of elections for Srinagar and Anantnag Parliamentary Constituencies.

Nodal officer, Postal Ballot, besides officials and other concerned were present.
