KUPWARA, May 4 :The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Handwara, Aziz Ahmad Rather who is also ARO AC-5 Handwara today visited various polling stations of Block Drugmulla, inspected Assured Minimum Facilities (AMF) and reviewed the preparedness for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The inspection was aimed to ensure that all polling stations are accessible to voters especially to specially-abled persons. Ramp access, electricity,water supply,drinking water and other facilities were reviewed.

During the visit, the ARO inspected Polling Station Drugmulla, Chayalpati, Shatmuqam , Bramri, Shalpora, Radbugh and various other stations.

The ARO emphasized the concerned departments for ensuring all required facilities at the polling stations so that each and every eligible voter shall participate in the election process without any hindrance. He reiterated the commitment of the administration to conducting free, fair and peaceful elections, urging all stakeholders to cooperate and contribute to the success of the electoral process.

The ARO also inspected different school during which he interacted with the students and provided voter awareness to them. He was accompanied by Tehsildar Drugmulla, Sector Magistrate and election staff.
