Lok Sabha Elections 2024: 11 Polling parties dispatched to Ramnagar, Chenani ACs of Udhampur PC

UDHAMPUR, APRIL 17: District Election Authorities today flagged off 11 polling parties to Ramnagar and Chenani Assembly segments of the Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency (PC) going for polls on April 19, 2024.

The polling staff, with poll material and EVMs left for AC-62 Ramnagar and AC-61-Chenani, amid heavy security from Government Degree College (Boys) and Government College for Women in presence of District Election Officer Udhampur, Saloni Rai.

The DEO also interacted with the polling parties and emphasized upon the Zonal and Sector Magistrates to maintain close coordination on the day of polling.

The District Election Officer impressed upon the ARO’s, Zonal and Sectoral Magistrates to ensure that poll parties reach their destinations well in time.

Among others present were SSP, ADDC, ADC besides AROs and other senior civil and police officers.
