KISHTWAR, APRIL 14: In preparation for upcoming Lok Sabha Elections-2024 in 4-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency (PC) which is scheduled to be held during first phase on 19th of April 2024, district Kishtwar conducted series of Nukkad Nataks at different venues like General Bus Stand Kishtwar, Chowgan Ground Kishtwar, Bus Stand Chatroo and GDC Kishtwar under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) awareness campaign.

The event unfolded under the guidance of District Election Officer Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav.

Flawlessly coordinated under the guidance of District Nodal Officer SVEEP, Idrees Lone, the event highlighted the collaborative endeavours spearheaded by dedicated team of District Information Office, under the supervision of Dr. Kuldeep Kumar, District Information Officer, Kishtwar.

Additional SP Kishtwar, Pawan Kumar, DSWO Kishtwar Tariq Parvez Qazi, Tehsildar Kishtwar Nirbhay Sharma besides other concerned officers and officials remained present on the occasion.

Utilizing the captivating medium of street theatre, performers from Sangam group effectively enlightened the general public of Kishtwar about importance of ethical voting.

Amidst the vibrant setting, the artists skilfully conveyed crucial messages about the principles of ethical voting.

In addition to decades-old dangal event held on eve of Baisakhi, festivities also took place at the historic Chowgan Ground Kishtwar, showcasing the communal brotherhood among the residents of Kishtwar.

The District Administration Kishtwar remains unwavering in its commitment to safeguard the integrity of the electoral process and cultivate a spirit of engaged citizenship.
