Police books 02 notorious drug peddlers under PIT NDPS Act in Kulgam

*April 08:* “`Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have booked 02 notorious drug peddlers under PIT NDPS Act in Kulgam.

 

The two notorious drug peddlers identified as Dawood Ahmad Bhat son of Mohd Amin Bhat resident of Mohammadpora and Sayar Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Salam Mir resident of Waripora, DH Pora, have been booked under PIT NDPS Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority. The booked drug peddlers have been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal Jammu.

 

Consistent action of Police against the criminals should reassure the community members that police is making all efforts to eradicate social evils and making all efforts to keep the society free from drug abuse.`
