Expenditure Observer reviews preparedness for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 in Kalakote-Sunderbani AC

RAJOURI, APRIL 06: Expenditure Observer, Samatha Mullamudi, today visited Kalakote-Sunderbani AC comprising part of Jammu Parliamentary Constituency and reviewed preparedness for the smooth conduct of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

She chaired a pivotal meeting with the key stakeholders including Assistant Returning Officer (ARO), Flying Squad teams, Assistant Expenditure Observers, Video Surveillance Teams, Video Viewing Teams, Accounting Teams and meticulously reviewed the preparedness measures undertaken for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The Expenditure Observer briefed the concerned stakeholders about their role and responsibilities, emphasizing the crucial nature of their duties. She stressed on maintaining the records related To expenditure strictly as per Election Commission of India guidelines.

Recognizing the pivotal role of each team in safeguarding the democratic ethos, she underscored the significance of performing their duties with unwavering dedication and diligence.

The Expenditure Observer underscored a collective commitment towards upholding the democratic values enshrined in the electoral process.

The meeting was attended by District Election Officer, Om Prakash Bhagat; Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunderbani, Rajeev Magotra; Additional Deputy Commissioner Kalakote, Mohd Tanveer; District Treasury Officer, Mohammad Bashir; Addl SP Nowshera; ETO Rajouri- Poonch, Narinder Singh and other officers associated with FSTs SSTs and Expenditure Monitoring Teams.
