Handwara, March 30, In the Run- up to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections- 2024, Assistant Returning Officer (ARO) Handwara-5, Aziz Ahmad Rather today organized a training program for Supervisors/BLOs of all the polling stations of Tehsil Handwara at Town Hall Handwara.

 

The training was imparted by District Level Master Trainer, Syed Saqib Geelani, who provided full guidance to the participants on various facets of the electoral process and operations of EVM/VVPAT.

 

Emphasis was placed on the importance of active participation and adherence to the guidelines outlined by the Election commission of India to ensure smooth and transparent conduct of the elections.

 

While addressing the trainees, the ADC stressed upon the concerned to ensure Assured Minimum Facilities (AMFs) at every polling station, flagging of PwD voters, registrations of Migrant Voters, strategy for their voting and provisions of voting for absentees voters etc.

 

At the culmination of the training programme, the vote of thanks was presented by Tehsildar Handwara.
