Lok Sabha Election-2024: Training imparted to Nodal Officers & allied staff at Kulgam

KULGAM, MARCH 16: The District Election Office Kulgam today conducted a day-long training session for Nodal Officers and allied staff for general election to Lok Sabha, 2024 at the Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat, here.

During the training programme, the District Level Master Trainers presented detailed information regarding the preparation and conduct of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.

All were apprised about their role in election process like election management, nomination process, scrutiny of nomination papers, and procedure for withdrawal of candidature, EVM (Electronic Voting Machine) management, Manpower management, Transport plan, Poll Day arrangements and Counting of votes and adhering to the provisions of the Model Code of Conduct.

All Nodal Officers and their allied staff were urged to adhere to the rules and regulations of the ECI for ensuring free, fair and transparent elections

On the occasion, a question answer session was also held during which participants raised several queries which were addressed to their utmost satisfaction.
