Mar 12 ; The Mega Enrollment Campaign at HS Goripora Zone Dangerpora is off to a fantastic start with the issuance of 85 admission letters for Kindergarten enrollment.
The event was marked by vibrant decorations and a warm welcome for the students, their parents, community heads, and teachers.
The campaign, initiated by Administrative Secretary Shri Piyush Singhla, aims to achieve 100% Retention Rate in government-run schools.
Chief Education Officer Baramulla, in his address, praised the efforts of the zones and encouraged the implementation of more robust initiatives.
He also engaged directly with parents and community members, urging them to take ownership of the Government run schools and become active stakeholders.
The event also saw the Zonal Education Officer Mohammad Akbar Wani, Zone Dangerpora, providing a detailed overview of the strategies being implemented to maximize enrollments.
These strategies include the operationalization of special training centers for out-of-school children and mobilizing Non-Literates (Learners) through ULLAS (NBSK) in preparation for the FLNAT 2024.
Chief Education Officer Baramulla highlighted the department’s numerous initiatives, including significant infrastructure upgrades that rival those of top private institutions.
The district has upgraded 312 elementary schools with modern ECCE facilities.
He also mentioned the continuous capacity building of teachers to modernize teaching skills and meet higher standards, along with the establishment of an effective monitoring mechanism to assess learning outcomes.
The event concluded with the distribution of admission letters to the young students, accompanied by the Chief Education Officer extending his best wishes for their educational journey ahead.
