DLC approves 25 cases under PM-FME at Kulgam

KULGAM, MARCH 09: To discuss and dispose-off applications submitted for establishment of Micro Food Processing Units under PM-FME scheme, a meeting of District Level Committee (DLC) on Pradhan Mantri- Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) was held today under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan at Mini-secretariat, here.

After threadbare discussion regarding various products, their productivity, processing perspective & market viability, the Committee approved 25 cases under the scheme for establishment of Micro Food Processing Units.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Kulgam, Chief Planning officer, Chief Agriculture officer, chief Animal Husbandry officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Distt Sheep Husbandry Officer, Lead Bank Manager and other officers.
