Rich tributes were paid to noted Literary Personality writer scholar Researcher, and former Director PIB Information Dr.Ghulam Rasool Azad Badhana, who passed away on 29th of February 2024 at the age of 72.

A condolence meeting was organised at Pahari Cultural Club Karnah which was attended by noted scholars, writers, intellectuals and journalists.

The function was presided over by Ghulam Nabi Badhana while Prominent personalities of Karnah Adovcate Mehboob Elahi Abdul Rashid Lone Abdul Rashid Qureshi Mir Haider Nadeem Wali Ahmad Qureshi Ifthikhar Qureshi and Dr.Aijaz Lone was also present in the presidium.

The life and contribution of Ghulam Rasool Azad was highlighted and the speakers pay rich tributes to him for his scholarly efforts who has contributed a lot in Gojri and Urdu languages.
The Speakers also highlighted the contribution of Late Azad Badhana as a journalist Assistant Editor of Daily Aftab and Chatan and as an officer and Director of Information Department.
The Proceedings of the programme was conducted by Ifthikhar Qureshi
