Kaifa shah started playing wushu from the age when she was only 7years old .It all started in 2013 when she along with her parents had a visit to the Sheri Kashmir indoor stadium Srinagar where she got allured to Wushu as some wushu players were practicing at that time .After that she and her sister Aliza shah [who also happens to be 5 times National Medalist]Since then she has bagged 5 national medals of all colors in Wushu apart from several other state championships where she has bagged gold in all her 10 appearances
In 2021during routine wushu practice kaifa shah got injured and had to take rest for almost one year but came up as a true fighter when in 2022 national championship Kaifa shah bagged gold medal after beating several players from various states This was her fifth National championship medal in a row. Only variance was its colour.From bronze and silver to Gold,
Now Kaifa shah has made it to the international arena and is going to represent India .When asked what are her feelings she replied with a smile and thumps up .Coming to this topnotch position was not that easy.Faced many vicissitude situations and despite several injuries she never gave up like a true fighter. She was Thank full to Secretary Sports council for her gigantic efforts for elevating sports infra in our UT,Mr Kuldeep Handoo ji(Dronacharya Awardee ) for his immense and strenuous efforts for the advancement of Wushu who despite his busy schedule take personnel interests for the development of Wushu .Mr Maqsood Rather ,secretary district Srinagar who is always there to help you, Mr Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar Manager Sports Council , Mr Nissar Mr Ramees Ahmad ,Mr Aijaz Ahmad and Mr Irfan Ahmad for giving unparalleled Wushu training to wushu players of the UT and Last but not the least she thanked her parents whose support is inconceivable
