COMPLETION OF BHARAT DARSHAN TOUR PROGRAMME

On 28/02/2024, A Debriefing and Interaction session for the girl and boy students of Karnah who had been on Bharat Darshan Tour to the city of joy Kolkata, Digha beach and the Sundarbans was organized at Headquarters 89 Bn BSF Tangdhar.The students were received by Sh Pradeep Kumar, Commandant 89 Bn BSF alongwith the team of officers.These students, filled with joy and jubilation had proceeded on 17th Feb 2024 from Tangdhar, Karnah for the tour with much fanfare. During interaction with the Commandant, the students shared their varied and colourful experience of the tour and expressed their gratitude to BSF for giving them this unique opportunity of seeing their country. It is pertinent to mention that most of these students had never been out of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. speaking on the occasion Sh Pradeep Kumar, Commandant expressed his happiness on the enthusiasm the children and stated that BSF is committed to work tirelessly for the upliftment of the local population and the Bharat Darshan Tour for the children of remote corners of the country is one such endeavour in showcasing to the future generation the myriad cultural and geographical dimensions of the nation. Expressing his satisfaction on successful completion of the tour, he further asserted that more such tours will be organized this year giving an opportunity the children to witness the glorious diversity of our country and its underlying ethos of unity.The interaction session ended in an atmosphere of fanfare and gaity and the children were given farewell for their respective homes in Tangdhar, Karnah.
