February 09: SSP Ganderbal Sandeep Gupta-IPS chaired a review meeting related to security scenario, law & order and other issues related to day-to-day policing at DPO Ganderbal.

The meeting was attended by CO 118 Bn CRPF S S Yadav, 2IC 115Bn CRPF Sheikh Shamim, DC 49Bn CRPF Shri R P Singh, Adhoc CO 3rd SSB Sandeep Kumar, Addl. SP Ganderbal Shri Malik Aijaz-JKPS, SDPO Kangan Muzaffar Jan-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Ganderbal Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS and DySP DAR DPL Ganderbal Nazir Ahmad.

Various issues were discussed related to security scenario of District, deployment of CAPF in the district, functioning of 24×7 Nakas and Operational grid and various aspects of policing besides public oriented plans.

SSP Ganderbal appreciated the efforts of CAPF and Ganderbal Police for maintaining law & order in the district. He further laid emphasis on strengthening the security grid of district and police-public relations, service-oriented policing and to gain the confidence & trust of community members and to have professional approach in dealing with L&O, counter insurgency operations.
