In response to the tragic and senseless killings of Amritpal Singh and Rohit in Srinagar yesterday by the cowardly terrorists, we, as a community, stand united in grief and condemnation. To register our protest against the killings Bharatiya Janata Party District Srinagar under the leadership of District President Shri Ashok Bhat today evening arranged a candle march held at Ganta Ghar Lal Chowk Srinagar echoed the sentiments of a community in mourning and called for an immediate end to innocent killings.
The loss of innocent lives is a stain on our collective conscience. Amritpal Singh and Rohit were not just victims; they were sons, brothers, friends, and members of our society.
During the candle march, the resounding slogan of “Stop innocent killings” serving as a stark reminder of the urgent need for peace and justice in our society. As we lit candles to honor the memories of Amritpal Singh and Rohit, we also prayed for the peace of their departed souls, hoping that they find solace in the realms beyond.
In these trying times, we extend our heartfelt solidarity to the grieving families of Amritpal Singh and Rohit. No words can alleviate their pain, but we stand by them, offering our support and strength as they navigate through this unimaginable loss.
As a community, we call upon authorities to swiftly investigate this heinous crime and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice. We cannot let innocent lives be lost in vain; we must strive for a society where every individual can live without fear of violence or persecution.
Let us honor the memories of Amritpal Singh and Rohit by working towards a future where such tragedies are relegated to the past. Together, let us build a society founded on peace, justice, and respect for every human life.
