It is pertinent to mention that many cases are registered against the said drug peddler, who has been also found involved in promoting drug trade by supplying drugs to youth of various areas of Police District Sopore.

Despite facing several legal actions, he failed to mend his ways and continued promoting drug trade by supplying drugs to local youth.

General public appreciated the role of Sopore Police for its action against the drug peddlers. Consistent efforts against drug peddlers provides reassurance to the community members that J&K Police is making all efforts to keep our society free from drug abuse.
