Instructs officers to ensure fool-proof arrangements for smooth conduct of exams

KULGAM, JANUARY 24: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today convened a meeting of concerned officers at mini-secretariat, here to review the arrangements for OMR based written examination for the post of Accounts Assistant (Finance) of J&K Service Selection Board, scheduled to be held on Jan 28, 2024 in the district.

The ADC briefed the meeting with respect to the status of arrangements at 35 examination centres setup across the district.

The meeting discussed various aspects of the examination process, such as security arrangements, logistics for transportation, safekeeping of examination material and efficient traffic management, role and responsibilities of manpower, arrangement for basic facilities, pre and post exam procedures.

The DC stressed that free, fair and transparent exams are the top most priority and instructed officers to ensure elaborated arrangements in place.

Similarly, the Heads of Institutions were directed to ensure proper arrangements at exam centres including heating arrangements.

The meeting was attended by ADC, Viqar Ahmad Giri; CEO, Center Superintends, Magistrates and other concerned officers.
