PM Award of Excellence: DC B’pora discusses achievements under various schemes

BANDIPORA, JANUARY 18: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather on Thursday chaired a meeting at Mini-Secretariat Bandipora to discuss registration on PM’s Award web portal for PM Award for Excellence in Administration.

The scheme for Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration aims to recognize the contribution of civil servants/ Districts under two categories viz. Holistic Development of Districts and Innovations.

The award is designed to acknowledge, recognize and reward exemplary work done in various fields.

The meeting discussed achievements under various schemes including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), Mission Indradhanush, Pradhan Mantri -Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY), Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY), PM SVANidhi, PM Vishvakarma Yojana, PM MUDRA Yojana and Kisan Credit Card Scheme for Farmers, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries.

During the meeting It was given out that the district Bandipora has achieved 100 percent target under mission Mission Indradhanush and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY).

Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed upon all District Officers to submit detailed achievements of their respective schemes so that proper evaluation is made for submission for PM Award. The officers were further directed to complete the process of evaluation and submission within given timelines in close coordination with CPO Bandipora.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Bandipora Mohd Ashraf Bhat, ACR Bandipora Shabir Ahmad Wani, CPO Bandipora, Executive Engineers and District Officers of various departments.
