Workshop on Drug De-adiction and Career Counseling was held today at Government Degree College Magam. The programme was organised by Sub District Administration Beerwah in colloboration with NSS unit of the college in association with Mission youth. In a bid to empower and guide the future workforce, a comprehensive Career Counseling was part of the Program.

The event was graced by eminent personalities incuding SDM Beerwah who attended the programme as Chief guest, Guest Counselors and Doctors from the Department of Health and Mission youth programme. In addition to the faculty members and students, the Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hussain Malik also attended the program.

The Drug de-addiction and Career Counseling Program was aimed to provide valuable insights and guidance to students, enabling them to make informed decisions about their future career paths and aware the common masses about the ill effects of drugs so that they can be eradicated from society.

The event began with an inspiring welcome address by Head Department of Political science Bilkeesa Akhtar who emphasized the importance of career guidance in shaping successful lives.

The Chief Guest of the event, delivered a motivating speech, saying, “In this dynamic world, it is crucial for students to have a clear vision of their career goals.”

Guest Speakers from the Department of Helth and Mission youth programme shared their expertise and valuable insights during interactive sessions with students regaring drug addiction.and career councelling.

Prof. Izhar ul Haq, Head, Department of Kashmiri GDC Magam presented formal vote of thanks.
