KISHTWAR, NOVEMBER 09: In a remarkable and impactful endeavor, Government Degree College Kishtwar today came together with the Social Reforms & Charitable Organisation Kishtwar (SRCO) and Dabur India Ltd to organise a grand campus cleanliness and Nutritional Juice Packets distribution event on the College Campus.

This initiative was executed with a dual purpose of promoting cleanliness and enhancing the Health and Nutrition Support Program of Dabur India Ltd.

The event, which aligns with the ongoing “Swachh Diwali Shubh Diwali Campaign,” saw a convergence of efforts to underline the cultural significance of Diwali while advocating for eco-friendly practices and discouraging single-use plastics and adopting healthy eating protocol.

Dabur India Ltd. played a pivotal role by distributing nutritional juice packets to 350 enthusiastic students. This distribution was part of their Health and Nutrition Support Programme, emphasizing the importance of consuming nutritious and healthy products during Diwali celebrations.

Dr. Jyoti Parihar, Principal of GDC Kishtwar, applauded the collaborative efforts of Dabur India Ltd. and SRCO and encouraged students to actively participate in various events throughout the Swachh Diwali Shubh Diwali campaign. She also stressed the significance of maintaining a clean and plastic-free campus.

Sanjeev Parihar, President of SRCO Kishtwar, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dabur India Ltd. for their invaluable support and reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to sustaining and expanding this noble initiative in the future.

The event also witnessed enthusiastic participation from distinguished faculty members, including Prof. Dr. Tariq Tamkeen, Prof. Satish Kumar, Dr. Munish Kumar, Dr. Vijay Kumar, Prof. Jaideep, Dr. Sehrish Gazal, Dr. Madhu Bala, Prof. Sonika Sen, and Prof. Akshay Sharma, who played integral roles in the success of the cleanliness drive and Health and Nutrition Support Programme .

The “Swachh Diwali Shubh Diwali Campaign” continues to inspire students and communities to embrace cleanliness and the consumption of healthy products in line with the Health and Nutrition Support Programme of Dabur India Ltd.
