The main objective of organising these camps was to focus on registration of all eligible youth as voters in the district. The Booth Level Officers shall remain present at their respective Polling Stations to receive claims and objections with regard to registration as voters during the Special camps.

The application with regard to correction in particulars of voters, if any, and objections against any wrong inclusion in the electoral roll may also be submitted during the Special camps.

The initiative shall go a long way in formulating the healthy and error free electoral rolls. During the camps, besides distribution and collection of filled forms, the concerned officials also delivered lectures and sensitized the prospective voters about the importance of votes and right to franchise.
