Unexploded mortar shell found in Jammu

An unexploded mortar shell was found in the Arina sector of Jammu division on Tuesday.

Sources told that an unexplored morter shell of 81 mm was found in the Arina sector, which was buried in the soil.

Sources said that it is being speculated that this shell might have been lying here during the recent ceasefire violation.

Meanwhile, police took cognizance of this incident.

Pertinently, on Monday evening, an 84-mm rusted mortal shell was recovered in Samba district.(KS)
