BANDIPORA, OCTOBER 25: As part of the National Action Plan for Senior Citizens scheme, the Department of Social Welfare Bandipora in collaboration with JKSWM (IA) Senior Citizens Home Bandipora Tuesday organized an Art and Creativity activities program for the elderly residents of the community.

A large number of senior citizens participated in the program, eager to explore their creative sides and enjoy the camaraderie of their peers. The activities offered a range of artistic expressions, including painting and article-making using recycled paper waste, as well as the unique and delightful challenge of balloon puncturing.

District Social Welfare Officer, Hidaitullah Mir said that in a world where the elderly sometimes feel neglected, the Art and Creativity Activities program shines as a beacon of inclusivity, promoting the active involvement of our cherished senior citizens in meaningful and enjoyable pursuits.
