Soldier hurt in sniper shot along LOC in Keran

An army man was injured in a sniper attack by Pakistani troops along the line of control (LoC) in the Keran sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Official sources told that the Pakistani army fired a sniper shot at an Indian army post in the Keran sector on Friday evening. The sniper shot left a soldier, Sourav Kumar, wounded in his left chest.

Sources said that the injured soldier was airlifted to the army’s 92-base hospital in Srinagar for specialized treatment.

Sources further said that the condition of the soldier is out of danger and stable. (KS)
