DLTFC approves 27 cases for financial help under JK-REGP at Kulgam

KULGAM, OCTOBER 05: A District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) meeting was held today at the mini-secretariat, here under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather.

A total of 34 cases were placed before the committee and 27 cases were approved by the committee at Project cost of Rs.1.57 Crore involving margin money of R.55 lacs and providing employment opportunities to 135 educated unemployed youth.

The JKREGP scheme is being implemented by Jammu & Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board (J&K KVIB) to harness and divert the potential and enthusiasm of youth for establishment of productive enterprise in the micro industrial sector and to create employment opportunities for others.

The bank representatives were directed by the chair to take the credit decision within 28 days from the receipt of DLTFC recommended applications from the KVIB Kulgam, also no security will be insisted upon by the bank except in agriculture and allied beyond the project cost of Rs. 5 lacs.
