*Dr. Farida Khan Honourable BDC chairperson Sopore presided over the meeting as a Chief Guest*.The Block Diwas programme was attended by Worthy Additional Deputy Commissioner ( ADC) Sopore, Sectoral officers, PRIs and general public. On the occasion, PRIs, prominent stakeholders highlighted their genuine demands of the areas.

During Block Divas Programme people highlighted various demands meant for the overall welfare & development of their areas of Block Sopore.

Various issues were raised during the programme and genuine demands were taken into consideration so that the demands of public which have not been redreesed were given priority.

However at the end of the programme the Concerned BDC raised various demands along with BDO and they emphasized that the developmental work in the region needs to be expedited so that people will not suffer.
