DDC Chairperson Ramban inaugurates High School Chachawa to Bhat Mohalla Halli link road

RAMBAN, OCTOBER 3: Continuing the development process in rural areas of the district, the Chairperson District Development Council, Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan today inaugurated 2 Km link road completed at an estimated cost of Rs 2.80 crore from High School Chachawa to Bhat Mohalla Galli, here today.

AEE PWD Sub-division Gool, Vimal Kishan Sidha, AE PWD Gool, Madhur Goel, JE PWD, Haider Ali, PRIs and locals were present at the occasion.

The Road has been constructed by the Public Works Department, Ramban under NABARD- RIDIF.

Speaking on the occasion, the DDC Chairperson said that with the completion of the road project a long pending demand of the area has been fulfilled. The road will provide smooth transport connectivity to the area benefiting a huge number of people.

Responding to the demands highlighted by the locals, the Chairperson said that the government is committed to meet all genuine aspirations of the people. She asked the PRIs to bring public demands and issues in the notice of administration for their timely redressal.

Interacting with the PRIs and locals, Dr. Shan impressed upon them to chalk out and formulate developmental and welfare plans. She said the government has empowered the PRIs by involving them in development and other activities at grassroots level.
