Karnah Kupwara : In the picturesque town of Karnah, nestled in the heart of Jammu and Kashmir, the air was filled with excitement and anticipation. It was a day that the Pahari Tribe and the entire community had eagerly awaited—the Pahari Tribe Champions Trophy. Organized by the Sports Association Karnah in collaboration with the Pahari Tribe ST Forum J&K, this event was not just a sports competition; it was a celebration of culture, unity, and the spirit of togetherness.

As the sun rose, a delegation from Rajouri, representing the Pahari Tribe ST Forum J&K, arrived in Karnah. Their presence was a testament to the unity among the Pahari people, transcending geographical boundaries

The festivities began with the enchanting performance of the Pahari Cultural Club, who took the audience on a journey through their rich heritage. The melodious Pahari trana echoed through the valley, resonating with the souls of everyone present.

Next on stage was the SKM Band Karnah, whose electrifying performance set the atmosphere ablaze with energy. The students of Orient Public School Khawarpara showcased their talent, leaving the audience in awe of their skills.

The Indian Army played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the event. Their unwavering support for the Pahari Tribe Champions Trophy was a symbol of the strong bond between the armed forces and the local community.

The local administration was actively involved, ensuring the smooth conduct of the tournament. Their presence was a reassurance of their commitment to the welfare and development of the region.
The BDC Vice-Chairperson, Ab Raheem Mir, and Boparmandal President, Haji Tasleem sb, graced the occasion with their presence, offering words of encouragement and support to the participants.

The BJP Constituency President, Javid Ahmed Lone, and Haji Kaneez Fatima, Constituency Head, PC, were among the distinguished guests who added prestige to the event.

Ravindar Pandita, the Sharda Committee Head, brought his vision and dedication to the forefront, contributing to the success of the Pahari Tribe Champions Trophy.

The melodious tunes of Kashmir’s famous singer, Waqar Khan, resonated with the audience, creating a musical ambiance that touched hearts.

The event also celebrated community heroes, including Raja Waqar, Abdul Rashid Lone, Abdul Hamid Khan, Abdul Hamid Mir,Dr Aijaz Lone,Peerzada Sayeed, and Dr. Ashfaq Lone, who have contributed significantly to the upliftment of the Pahari community.
Khushal Khawaja, a source of inspiration for the community, shared his wisdom and insights during the event.
Skyline Career Counseling, an integral part of the community, played its role in shaping the future of young minds.
The event was made possible with the support of numerous civil society members who stood shoulder to shoulder with the Pahari Tribe, strengthening the bonds of unity and culture.

The Pahari Tribe Champions Trophy was not just about sports; it was about celebrating the Pahari heritage, fostering unity, and honoring the community’s heroes. As the day came to a close, the hearts of the Pahari people swelled with pride, knowing that their culture and unity had shone brightly in the valley of Karnah.
