KISHTWAR, SEPTEMBER 13: Government Degree College Kishtwar organized a student rally from the college premises to Shaheedi Chowk to pay tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the establishment of the college.

The rally served as a significant event to honor the memory of four individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice during an agitation in 1974 demanding a college in Kishtwar.

Led by the Principal of the College, Dr. Jyoti Parihar, the rally saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff. Marching from the college premises to Shaheedi Chowk, the participants expressed their heartfelt gratitude and remembrance to the noble souls who selflessly laid down their lives in the pursuit of higher education in Kishtwar.
