Ganderbal, Sept 5: – In a heartwarming felicitation program organized by the BJP unit in Ganderbal, the district’s political and religious leaders came together to honor Dr. Darakshan Andrabi, the Minister of State (MoS), for her unwavering commitment to the development of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board. Under the able leadership of Mohammad Amin Shah, the event was a celebration of promises kept and a commitment to a brighter future for the district.
The team that included District President Ganderbal Mohammad Amin Shah,Sr Bjp leader and StateVice-president for ST Morcha Junaid Ahmed Khattana,Vice President Ruheena Shahzad, Azmat Hussain, imtiyaz tantray,District General Secretary Javaid Ahmad Dar, District President Minority Morcha Shabir Ahmad Mir, Constituency President Ganderbal Mir Manzoor Ahmad, Youth General Secretary Danish Ahmad, Spokesman Mohammed Hafeez , Senior leader Shabir Ahmad,Mohammad Rafiq Baba from Pandach and other young members, met Dr Darakshan at Pandach and was greeted by presenting flowers, later the team went with her through the district. Dr. Darakshan Andrabi, during her visit to Ganderbal, demonstrated her dedication to the community by engaging with local school children at a nearby educational institution. She not only motivated and encouraged the young minds but also awarded certificates and prizes, inspiring them to excel in their studies and future endeavors.
Continuing her tour, Dr. Andrabi paid visits to two significant religious shrines in the district, namely the shrine of Baba Mir Hyder (R.A) Tulmulla and Shah Shahib Qalander (R.A) Watlar Lar. Her objective was to assess the existing infrastructure and arrangements at these shrines. Her commitment to preserving and enhancing these sacred sites was evident, reflecting her determination to uphold the district’s rich cultural heritage.
During the visit, Mohammad Amin Shah, the District President of BJP Ganderbal, expressed his gratitude to Dr. Darakshan Andrabi for fulfilling her promises to the district. In his heartfelt statement, he praised her unwavering dedication to the development of Waqf properties, schools, and shrines in the district. He emphasized that these initiatives would not only generate wealth and employment opportunities but also contribute to the growth of religious institutions within the district.
The program underscored the significance of political leaders working collaboratively to bring positive changes to their communities. Dr. Darakshan Andrabi’s commitment to Ganderbal’s development resonated with the attendees, inspiring hope for a brighter future in this picturesque district. “In a world where promises are often forgotten, this event stood as a testament to the importance of leaders who honor their commitments and work tirelessly for the betterment of their constituents. Dr. Darakshan Andrabi’s visit served as a beacon of hope for the people of Ganderbal, reinforcing the idea that together, they can achieve progress and prosperity.” Said Shah in his statement to media.
