In an effort to combat the serious issue of ragging and promote legal awareness among students, Tehsil Legal services Authority Magam organised legal awareness programme here at Government
Degree College Magam. The Event was participated by Legal Experts, Teaching faculty, students and Principal of the College Prof. Mohammad Hussain Malik.

The event was held today in bringing together students, educators, legal experts, and advocates to address the pressing concern of ragging within educational institutions.

Ragging, a form of harassment and abuse that new students often face, can have detrimental effects on their mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Recognizing the importance of tackling this problem, Tehsil Legal services Authority Magam and Government Degree College Magam has taken the initiative to organize this legal awareness programme. The event aims to equip students with the knowledge of their legal rights and empower them to take action against ragging and any other form of misconduct. The informative sessions by Legal experts from Tehsil Legal services Authority Magam and faculty members of Government Degree College Magam encourages participation and hopes that the event will serve as a platform for collaboration and knowledge-sharing among all stakeholders.

At last, in a felicitation cermony Nasir ul Islam, Tawseefa Ali and Roza Ali got First, second, and third positions respectively.
