During this heartwarming encounter, officers took a moment to honor the supreme sacrifices made by the brave hearts. The sacrifices, they emphasized, have played a pivotal role in safeguarding the ideals that define our great nation.

As a token of appreciation and a gesture of solidarity, the delegation presented Souvenirs and thoughtfully curetted gifts to the families of the War Martyrs. Through this gesture, the officers sought to convey that the society as well as the administration profoundly acknowledges and values the significant role played by these families in nurturing the spirit of patriotism and dedication.

The team of officers extended a heartfelt invitation to the honored families to join in the commemoration of the main programme of Independence Day celebration in the district. It is an occasion to reflect upon the unyielding devotion of these families and their cherished family members who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation. Their legacy serves as an enduring reminder of the indomitable spirit that unites us as a nation.

As we approach yet another Independence Day, the DI&PR Centre Kishtwar, under the visionary leadership of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar continues to foster a sense of unity and reverence among the citizens. The ‘Meri Matti Mera Desh’ Campaign stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment of our community to honor those who have laid down their lives for our nation.
