This rally was led by the Sub Divisional Magistrate Karnah Dr.GA Rather while SHO Karnah Inspector Shafyat ZEO Tangdar Shah Mohammad and other officers from civil and police administration participated in the rally.

The idea behind the initiative was to imbibe the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote reverence for the Indian National Flag.

The SDM said that ‘Tiranga’ is a symbol of national pride for every Indian. To further honor our national flag, a very appreciative campaign ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, has been launched.

The SDM appreciated the efforts of school children for remaining on the forefront in the ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ campaign and also congratulated all the participants who actively participated in the grand tiranga rally and other events held under these campaigns.

The Tehsil is abuzz with activities being organized under the Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign.
