DLSA Kishtwar, One Stop Centre collaborate to Commemorate International Youth Day

The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kishtwar, in collaboration with the One Stop Centre (OSC) Kishtwar, organized an insightful camp at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Higher Secondary School to mark International Youth Day.

The event featured prominent speakers, including Sanveer Singh (Assistant LADC) and Adv. Sheikh Aadil Ali from DLSA Kishtwar. The speakers engaged with the students, shedding light on the significance of International Youth Day. They provided valuable insights into different legal provisions and remedies accessible to the youth, empowering them with knowledge and awareness.

Adv. Aruna Rani, a legal expert and representative from One Stop Centre Kishtwar, enlightened the students about the diverse services available at OSC. She emphasized their rights and elaborated on the pressing issues of cybercrime and blackmailing that modern-day females, both professionals and students, encounter in the cyber realm. Her informative session underscored the importance of youth in fostering a harmonious and improved society.

The camp culminated with the address of Ram Sevak Sharma, Principal of the host school. He expressed heartfelt appreciation for the efforts of DLSA and OSC Kishtwar. He extended his gratitude for organizing this enlightening event, recognizing its contribution to the students’ holistic development.

The collaborative initiative of DLSA Kishtwar and One Stop Centre Kishtwar on International Youth Day aimed to equip young minds with legal awareness and practical knowledge, nurturing responsible citizens who contribute positively to society.
