The District Kishtwar is witnessing an upsurge in patriotic fervor as the ‘Sur Azadi Ke’ amid ongoing patriotic song singing competition being hosted under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Devansh Yadav.

As part of the pre-Independence Day festivities, the District Administration Kishtwar has organised this engaging competition.

Collaborating seamlessly, the teams of District Information Department Kishtwar and the Department of Education are orchestrating on-site competitions at different public locales.

Enthusiastic participation is flowing from the local populace, fervent patriots and students, spanning all age groups.

With resounding renditions of patriotic anthems, they’re collectively paying homage to the freedom fighters and mother land, besides kindling the flame of patriotism within the hearts of the masses.

The competition is set to run until August 12, featuring ground auditions, with the grand finale scheduled to be held on August 13. The winning voices will be rewarded handsomely, with cash prizes of Rs. 11,000 for first place, Rs. 7,000 for the second, and Rs. 5,000 for the third.
