On the fifth Monday of Shri Shivkhori Shravan Mahotsav, a documentary on the Lord Shiva was screened at Ransoo, today.

Shri ShivKhori Shravan Mohatsav has created divine vibes in and around the Ransoo town. Devotees including locals are engrossed in the devotion to Shiva.

District Development Counsellor, Kewal Krishan was the chief guest, while District Information Officer Rajinder Dingra and Tehsildar Pouni Naresh Sharma were the guests of honour.

Addressing the gathering, the DDC Counsellor said that the administration is taking far reaching steps to promote tourism in Reasi and adjoining areas by creating necessary infrastructure including development of Shiv Khori and other heritage spots to attract tourists.

He said films and documentaries not only cater to the religious and spiritual sentiments but also offer a unique opportunity to individuals from diverse backgrounds to understand the cultural richness and philosophical depth associated with Lord Shiva.
