DC Doda launches Intensified Mission Indradhanush 5.0

Calls for vaccination of all left out in far flung & high-risk areas

As the part of a nationwide campaign, Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan, on Monday launched the Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI 5.0) to cover unvaccinated or partially vaccinated 0 to 5 Yr old children and pregnant women in the Doda District.

Chief Medical Officer, Dr Ab Hamid Zargar; Dy CMO, Dr Om Kumar; DIO, Dr Versha Sharma; BMO Ghat, Dr Ab Gafoor; VCCM, Priyanka Manhas and other health officers/officials were present at the launch function held in CMO Office.

The DC directed for effective coverage of all the left out and drop-out children. He further asked the concerned to give wide publicity to the program by all means of communication and media for better results.

Dr. Om Kumar informed that the camps will be conducted in all 209 health facilities from 7-12 August 2023 in the first round of IMI 5.0 for which 211 sessions have been created along with trained vaccinators.

At Bhaderwah, the programme was launched by ADC, Dilmir Choudhary in presence of BMO Dr Mohammad Ashraf. Similar launching ceremonies were held at Ghat, Thathri, Gandoh and Assar blocks also.
