Release of PM-KISAN 14th Installment: Live telecast organised in Samba District

The Agriculture Department District Samba, under the Chairmanship of Chairman District Development Council, Keshav Dutt Sharma, organized a live telecast (webcasting) of the release of 14th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samaan Nidhi Yojana and launch of other initiatives by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Sikar- Rajasthan, the other day.

Around 100 local farmers, PRIs and government functionaries watched the telecast held in the conference hall of the DC Office.

In Samba District, 17,942 farmers were among the beneficiaries, receiving the Direct Transfer of Rs 3.69 crore in their accounts (Rs 2000 each). This installment marks the milestone of 11 crore farmers benefiting from the scheme, with a total transfer of Rs 2.60 lakh crore so far.

The event was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh; Chief Agriculture Officer, Sanjay Kumar Verma; District Agriculture Officer (Ext), Jatinder Kumar; Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer and District Sheep Husbandry Officer.

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samaan Nidhi Yojana has played a crucial role in empowering farmers and boosting the agricultural sector in the country.
