Amidst the ongoing annual Machail Mata Yatra, the 3 Day Multimedia Exhibition on 9 years of Governance was successfully concluded today at Gulabgarh Paddar.

The concluding program was graced by the distinguished presence of Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, as the chief guest and Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav and SSP Kishtwar, Khalil Ahmed Poswal-JKPS as guests of honour.

Hari Krishan Chauhan, DDC member Paddar was the special guest on the occasion. Also in attendance were CEO, Kishtwar Development Authority, Dr. Rishi Kumar Sharma, Tehsildar Atholi, Satish Rana, Principal GDC Paddar, Dr. Subash Chander, and several other district officers.

The 3- day program was organized by the CBC Office Doda of the Central Bureau for Communication, Government of India, under the overall supervision of CBC Field Officer Doda Circle, Vikram Uppal, with the cooperation of Field Officer Rajouri, Sunil Kumar.

The concluding day program witnessed enthusiastic participation from locals, field functionaries of various departments including ICDS, Health, Education, Employment, Forest, Horticulture, as well as students and PRIs.

The display banners and special lectures by resource persons and expert officers shed light on the significant milestones achieved during the 9 years of Governance, including the Seva Susashan and Garib Kalyan initiatives, Mission LiFE, and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) program.

The program commenced with a warm welcome address by CBC Field Officer Doda. Following that, the chief guest, along with DC and SSP, inspected the stalls of different departments, where CBC Field Officers apprised them about the government’s various accomplishments, showcased through display banners installed in the premises of the program.

Various media engagements, including a screen display of an exclusive video produced by the District Administration on the glorious history of Paddar, the revered Machail Mata pilgrimage, and the Victory trek of General Zorawar Singh, enlightened the dignitaries and local participants about the 9 years of Seva Susashan and Garib Kalyan, Mission liFE, and EBSB, among others during the program.

The occasion was made vibrant with enthralling cultural performances by talented artists from Jammu, who mesmerized the audience with their artistic presentations reflecting the cultural diversity of the region.

An interactive open quiz competition added excitement to the event, encouraging participants to showcase their knowledge. The winners were rewarded with gift awards in recognition of their correct answers, and the dignitaries and resource persons were also felicitated with trophies.

Addressing the gathering, the chief guest provided insights on the various developmental initiatives in the region that focus on bringing the Paddar region on the tourism map.

While recounting the arrangements made for this year’s annual Machail Yatra, Div Com, Ramesh Kumar emphasized that the divisional and district administration will leave no stone unturned to make the Yatra convenient for pilgrims.

He extended felicitation to all the stakeholders for organizing the multi-media exhibition, aimed to acquaint the people about centrally sponsored schemes for their welfare.

DC Kishtwar, while speaking on the occasion, praised the Central Bureau of Communication, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for organizing the exhibition and effectively highlighting the remarkable achievements of the 9 years of Government for the awareness of the people.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks extended for the cooperation to District and local administration, participants and PRIs.
