Participate In Historical Juloos In Peaceful Manner: Imran Reza Ansari to ‘Azadars’

Srinagar, Jul 26: Reacting to the decision of Jammu and Kashmir administration to allow the Muharram procession here, All Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association President Imran Reza Ansari has urged ‘Azadars’ to participate in the processions’ peacefully.

“The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has permitted the Muharram 8th procession after three-decades. I urge all the Azadars of Imam Hussain (AS) to participate in this historical juloos in a peaceful manner, becoming the messengers of Hussain (AS) to the whole world,” a notification from the office of top Shia cleric reads.

Earlier Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri said that the procession will be allowed from traditional route for two hours from 6 AM upto 8 AM. “The decision was taken after taking all the aspects of the prevailing situation into consideration”, he said
