19 KCC, 19 PMJJBY & 19 PMSBY cases were sponsored

As part of the nationwide KCC Campaign, the Department of Animal Husbandry Bandipora in coordination with the Lead District Bank Bandipora today organized the weekly Kisan Credit Card (KCC) camp, at the Meeting Hall of BVO Office Bandipora, here.

The camp was chaired by CAHO Bandipora, Dr G. A Lone and LDM Bandipora, Shamim Ahmad.

During the camp, a total of 19 KCC cases, 19 PMJJBY (Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana), and 19 PMSBY (Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana) cases were sponsored.

The farmers were also provided awareness regarding the operation and maintenance of KCC accounts, and were also briefed about various departmental schemes. Emphasis was laid on encouraging farmers to actively avail the benefits offered by these schemes.

To address any concerns or grievances, an interactive session was held where officials engaged with the farmers and addressed their issues.

Other official attendees included Nodal Officer, Concerned Bank Managers, and concerned Veterinary Assistant Surgeon along with the staff.
