To provide governance at the door steps and to ensure timely redress of grievances, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Sachin Kumar Vaishya today conducted a public outreach cum grievances redressal camp here at Government Higher School Rang of Block Parlidhar.

BDC, Chairperson Parlidhar, Neelam Devi, DDC Ramnagar-1 Mool Raj, SDM, Ramnagar, Shishir Gupta and other district officers besides Sarpanches, Panches Prominent citizens participated in the camp.

During the camp, PRI members and people of adjoining Panchayats raised many issues and demands. They sought adequate staff in the Educational and Health institutions, resolving Mobile phone Network problem, speedy completion of PMGSY road from Plassan to Pingla Mata, avoiding unscheduled power cuts, Additional accommodation and installation of gate in GHSS Rang, Panchayat ghar building in Kogarmarh, Construction of Pacca stairs on both sides in Chountra Mata shrine, up gradation of GHS School, Bainsta and Chak Buryalta to higher Secondary Level, Construction of overhead foot bridge at Malti Morh Nalla, Shifting of teachers zero enrollment schools to other schools etc.

Interacting with the PRIs and general public, the DC said that the main objective of this public outreach programme is to take a firsthand appraisal of important issues of rural people. He added that these outreach camps help to take governance to the door steps of the public which improves the public service delivery mechanism. The DC assured the public that all their genuine issues and demands would be addressed in a time bound manner.

On the occasion, the DC sanctions Rs. 50,000 for installation of Gate in Higher Secondary School Rang.

The CMO was directed to address the grievances of people related to health on priority basis. He stressed on close monitoring of ongoing works to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.

Necessary instructions were issued on the spot to the officers of concerned departments for completion of ongoing works within stipulated time frame without compromising the quality and leaving no scope for any complaint from any quarter.

The DC directed all the officers to work in coordination for effective implementation of Government schemes on the ground.

DDC Councillor, Ramnagar-1 and other PRIs and local people thanked DC Udhampur for installation of Ultrasound Machine in SDH, Ramnagar.

After concluding weekly Block Diwas, the DC inspected ongoing work of Rang Buland road and execution work of BDO office and GHSS building. Executing agencies were directed to expedite the progress and complete as per the timeline.
