Muzamil Shakeel Beigh, a deaf and mute student hailing from the scenic village of Kralweth Kunzer in the world-famous tourist destination of Gulmarg, has successfully passed his 10th-grade examinations, securing an impressive 287 marks. Results of the exam were declared recently.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Baramullah during his visit to Muzamil’s home congratulated him for his achievement and expressed his good wishes with the brilliant Muzamil. He also passed on congratulatory message of Director of the Department Subash C Chhibber with him and his family. District Sports officer presented Muzamil a personal sports kit as a token of acknowledging for his keen interest and remarkable achievement in academics and sports. “Muzamil’s outstanding performance in various sporting events, coupled with his academic success, inspired the decision to gift him the sports kit”. DYSSO added.
Meanwhile Director Sports has said that the Department of Youth Services and Sports is taking many initiatives of encouraging and promoting people with special abilities. “YSS recently organised specially designed sports activities for people with special needs and it infused a new zeal and hope in such youngsters”. Chhibber added.
He emphasized that Muzamil’s achievements not only represented his personal triumphs but also served as a source of inspiration for other individuals with disabilities, demonstrating that with determination and hard work, one can overcome any obstacles.
