DC Kulgam inspects physical progress of several development projects

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today visited Liroo area of the district where he took stock of the physical progress made on the construction of residential quarters here.

It was informed that 06 residential quarters for Officers are under execution of JKPCC, with an estimated cost of about 14.47 crore rupees.

It was intimated that out of 06 blocks, work on 05 blocks is complete while 45 percent of work stands completed on block 06.

While taking stock of progress made on construction of 2 BHK residential accommodation for PRIs at Kulgam, concerned from R&B informed that that 70 percent work has been completed in these quarters.

It was also shared that the project cost of these PRI residential quarters is 5.25 crore.

The DC directed the concerned executing agency to expedite the construction work so that these are immediately put to use.

Besides, DC also took stock of work on NH-444 near Liroo Kulgam.

The DC was accompanied by ADC Viqar Ahmed Giri, ACR Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz and other officers and officials.
