Deputy Commissioner Rajouri interacts with newly appointed Lambardars  & Chowkidars

Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today interacted with the newly appointed Lambardars and Chowkidars here in his office. The meeting was held to emphasize their crucial role in maintaining law and order in their respective areas, and to urge them to perform their duties with dedication and sincerity.

The meeting was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajeev Kumar Khajuria and Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Imran Rashid Kataria.

The DC highlighted the crucial role of the Lambardars and Chowkidars in ensuring the safety and security of the villagers, and in declaring them Nasha Mukt. He urged them to work closely with the Tehsil administration and law enforcement agencies, and to stay vigilant and proactive in identifying and reporting any suspicious activities or incidents in their areas.

The DC also emphasized the need for transparency and fairness in carrying out their duties, and assured them of the full support of the district administration in carrying out their responsibilities.

The newly appointed Lambardars and Chowkidars expressed their gratitude to the DC for taking the time to interact with them and provide them with valuable guidance. They pledged to work with dedication and sincerity towards maintaining law and order in their areas, and to ensure the safety and security of their fellow citizens, preventing encroachment, reporting cases of accidents, fires and drug abuse.

The meeting ended on a positive note, with Lambardars and Chowkidars expressing their commitment to work in close coordination with the district administration and law enforcement agencies, to achieve the common goal of a safe, secure and developed district
