A meeting of District level Screening cum Co-ordination Committee (DLSCC) was held here today under the chairmanship of District Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Dr Basharat Qayoom.

The meeting cleared most of the cases including cases of death, damages, injury and cases of SRO-43. It also cleared police personnel cases which were approved in favour of the NoKs of militancy victims under Death, Missing, Injured, Damaged and SRO-43 cases as per the guidelines laid under Government Order No. Home-228 of 2017, dated 16-03-2017.

 

The eligibility including qualification of the applicants was also taken into account while deciding the appointment cases. The Reports from Police, CID and Army were thoroughly discussed while deciding the cases. All the necessary guidelines as per SRO-43 were also kept in view while disposing-off cases.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the District Administration shall ensure there is nil pendency of such cases requiring immediate relief to the people. He stressed the concerned Officers to ensure speedy disposal of all such cases for timely clearance of the cases.

 

Among others, the meeting was attended by SSPs of Pulwama and Awantipora, ADDC Pulwama, CO-44 RR, CO-55 RR, CO-183,182 Bn CRPF, Additional Deputy Commissioners of Tral, Awantipora and Pulwama, Superintending Engineer R&B Pulwama, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Pulwama, Chief Medical Officer, all Tehsildars and various Officers from Police, Army, CID besides other concerned.
