DC Ramban flags off 1st Batch of Hajj Pilgrims

Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam along with senior officers flagged off the first batch of  Hajj pilgrims to Srinagar, here today.

The Deputy Commissioner congratulated the Hajj pilgrims for getting the opportunity to embark on this sacred journey. He extended his best wishes for their safe and secure pilgrimage and earnestly appealed to them to pray for the peace and prosperity of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, a special prayer was also held in which a large number of people gathered to pray for the successful completion of the Holy Haj of the pilgrims.

Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Gias-Ul-Haq, other officers, prominent citizens and a large number of religious leaders, friends and relatives were also present on the occasion.
