ANANTNAG, JUNE 02: Justice Vinod Chatterjee Koul, Judge High court of J&K and Ladakh and Administrative Judge for District Anantnag today conducted an inspection of District Court Complex Anantnag.  During the visit, the Administrative Judge, District Court Anantnag was received by the Principal District and Sessions Judge Anantnag in presence of other judicial officers.   At the outset, Justice Vinod held a meeting with judicial officers in presence of Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Syed Fakhruddin Hamid and SSP Anantnag Ashish Mishra. He was apprised about the lack of infrastructure and space, and security issues regarding functioning of NIA Court.  Administrative Judge after giving patient hearing to the judicial Officers issued necessary directions to the Deputy Commissioner Anantnag.   Later, Justice Vinod interacted with the Bar members of Anantnag wherein they placed their demands viz. seeking expeditation of construction work on new court complex at Sarnal Anantnag and requested that the concerned agency may be directed to complete the construction in a time bound manner, BAR room for lawyers at DC Office Complex, upgradation of amenities at Court Complex Anantnag and creation of Additional District Judge and Additional Munsiff at Anantnag.
