ONE MORE VEHICLE MET WITH AN ACCIDENT NEAR 27 BN BSF CAMPUS

TANGDHAR, On 20th May 2023 (Thursday) at about 08:48 AM a Bolero Pick-up No. JK 05G-3302 being driven by Khursheed Ahmad Bhat S/O M D Gulam Ahmad Bhat Village – Wadoora PO- Sopore, district Baramulla, fell into Batmajhi Nar near 27 Bn BSF Campus Tangdhar suspectedly due to mechanical failure. Troops of 27 Bn BSF immediately rushed to the spot and evacuated both Driver and Co-driver (Fazil Monjor S/O Manzoor Alam Bhat resident of village Wadoora PO- Sopore, district Baramulla) from the vehicle. Driver and Co-driver sustained minor injuries. First Aid was provided to them by medical team of 27 Bn BSF and they were further evacuated to Civil Hospital SDH Karnah, Tangdhar. As told by driver they were carrying ice-cream in the vehicle from Sopore. Local police reached on the spot and taking further actions. No person other than driver and Co-driver was traveling in the vehicle. This is the 4th accident on the same route in which 4 persons died,two of them were brothers.
