Clean Environment awareness programme held by Department of Social Forestry event at Newlight School Chitrakot

KARNAH//Newlight Public Model School Chitrakot Karnah organized a function on Tuesday by the Department of Social Forestry.  School children, teachers and employees of the department participated in this event organized under “Green Drive” and “Har Gaon Hariyali” campaign. During this, the children were emphasized to keep the environment clean.  Sworn that they will try their best to keep the surrounding environment clean in the future. Finally, the school children cleaned the school premises and disposed of the garbage together with the staff of the Social Forestry Department.  Officials of the Social Forester Department addressed the children and teachers present in the school and instructed them to keep the environment clean. They asked the children to throw garbage and solid waste from their homes in the dustbin instead of throwing it in the open.  Range Officer Social Forester Sajid Qazi said that such programs will be organized in Karna area in the future.
